 Hi, my name is Hope Brotherson.  I am a Wall Lake, IA native, and currently live outside of Sac City, IA.  I grew up on a smaller cow/calf operation where we also raised registered Quarter Horses.  Along with a hog vaccinating business, my siblings and I had while in high school, I was very active in both 4-H and FFA throughout the years.  Influences from both great organizations and my upbringing, drove my passion for animal agriculture.  I graduated from Iowa State in 2018, which a bachelors degree in animal science.  While in college, I had the pleasure of interning with Carroll Veterinary Clinic, AMVC Management Services, and Purina Animal Nutrition.  I am incredibly excited to be working with Remsen Farmers Coop as their Beef and Swine Purina Livestock Production Specialist!  I would love to learn more about your operation and assist you in developing and reaching any goals you have set for your farm.  Please feel free to contact me anytime.

I grew up on a dairy farm near Danbury Ia. I still live only a couple miles from where I grew up. Through my years of working in animal agriculture, I have always preferred cow/calf and feedlot. Helping cow calf producers to work on cow nutrition and getting the calves prepared for the feedlot or getting heifers ready to go back to be productive in the cow herd. Working on cow nutrition has helped me understand some of the challenges feedlots face with new incoming cattle. Whether starting calves or yearlings we have detailed programs to help with each group of cattle. Working on maximizing performance.
